Rebecca Neal joined the DMA staff in January
2012. She brings over 20 years of experience working on Capitol
Hill and in fortune 500 companies including EDS, Weber-Shandwick
Worldwide and Hewlett Packard, European Headquarters (Geneva,
Switzerland).
On Capitol Hill, Rebecca was a staffer providing
a range of duties in the offices of Representative David E Satterfield
(D-VA), Representative Charlie Vanik (D-OH) on the House Ways and Means
Trade Subcommittee and Senator Mark O Hatfield (R-OR) on the Senate
Appropriations Committee.
In the private sector, Rebecca worked at EDS,
where she was a Team Leader and EA to the Vice President of Government
Affairs (OGA). She organized numerous fundraisers for members of
Congress and special events for President Clinton’s 1997 Inauguration
and the Virginia inaugural ball. Working in conjunction with EDS
and The National Geographic Society, Rebecca coordinated events for the
Jason Project, a renowned interactive long-distance educational program
that was founded by Dr. Bob Ballard, the oceanographer and explorer who
discovered the shipwreck of RMS Titanic.
Rebecca was employed at Weber-Shandwick
Worldwide. In this role she partnered with former Senator Don Riegle
(D-MI), assisting him as well as managing the dynamics of the
organization.
Rebecca Neal received
her BA from the University of Mary Washington. Rebecca primarily
assists Denny and Sandra with scheduling, research and client matters.
