Cara Gavagan joined
Denny Miller Associates in September of 2006. Before joining the DMA
team, Cara held several internships in the political arena. Cara has
worked in London, at the office of Anthony D. Wright M.P, in U.K.
Parliament where she completed a research report on the state of
transportation in England's East Anglia region. This report led to a
speech delivered in Westminster Hall, a task force, and ultimately an
increase in funding for the region's transportation needs. She has also
interned in the office of Congressman John E. Sweeney (R-NY) and the
Global Issues Group at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C.
Cara assists our staff with legislative duties including research, database management, preparing client materials, and assisting with event planning and fundraisers. Originally from Albany, New York, Cara received her B.A. in politics and philosophy from The Catholic University of America in 2006. |
