Prior to launching Denny Miller Associates in 1983, Denny served on the personal staff of the late Senator Henry M. "Scoop" Jackson (D-WA) for
sixteen years, the last six years as his chief of staff.
Denny assisted Senator Jackson in his positions as chairman of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, ranking member of the Armed Services Committee, and senior member of the Governmental Affairs and Intelligence Committees. Denny also served as a professional staff member of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, specializing in energy policy and environmental, Indian, and youth employment issues.
Denny began his career
as an officer in the U.S. Army in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He
received a B.S. in natural resources management from Oregon State University, an M.S. in water pollution biology from the University of Washington and a
master's in public administration from the University of Washington.
Denny resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife, Sandra. |
