Prior to joining Denny Miller Associates in 2009, Judson was the Manager of Legislative Programs at Premera Blue Cross, headquartered outside of Seattle.  In that role he studied healthcare public policy proposals at the state and federal levels, while helping to advise the company on legislative action.  During this time he also volunteered as an advisor to a health IT start up in Kirkland, Washington, helping the staff understand regulatory requirements, run market analyses, and research.  He also has made presentations to funding groups with the company.

Prior to his time at Premera, Judson served as the Director of Public Policy at a Seattle-based political consulting firm, where he worked on a broad range of issues including healthcare, energy, water rights, international trade, and natural resources.  In 2004, he served as Finance Director to Senator Patty Murray during her campaign for re-election.
